February 1st: Monthly Tuition Payment due. For those enrolled in Auto Pay, tuition will run this day.
February 2nd-7th: Patriots Spirit Week! Wear your Patriots gear to class over your leotards to support the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
February 7th: Prop and stage design meeting at the Studio from 11:30am-12:30pm.
February 7th: Opening Act characters only meeting. Time TBA.
February 10th: Monthly Tuition Deadline. Any payments made after this day are subject to a $15 late fee per student.
February 11th: Opening Act fee due.
February 14th: Wear your red or pink to dance in the spirit of Valentine’s Day. Please make sure you are still in proper footwear. Red or pink leotards are allowed on this day!
February 16th-22nd: February Vacation. NO classes held besides the Adv rec Company make up rehearsal. Please make sure to practice your recital dances at home! The edited music will be up on the Parent Portal for practicing.
February 16th: Barbie Dream Dance Camp 10am-12pm. Dancing, games, snack and craft!
February 17th: Adv Rec Company make up rehearsal from 12-2pm.
February 22nd: Open Studio time for Company dances. Time TBA. You must let Jill Wood know if your child is planning to attend. $5 per dancer, cash only.
February 23rd: Deadline for Cast List Corrections. More info below.
February 28th: Opening Act from 11:30am-12:30pm for dancers only.
ATTENTION: WE ARE A NUT FREE STUDIO
Due to many students with nut allergies we are now a nut free studio. Please plan accordingly when bringing snacks into the studio. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
We are celebrating the Patriots this week at Dance & Beyond as we gear up for the Super Bowl! Dancers may wear their Patriots gear this week to class or red, white and blue over their leotards.
Cast List Corrections:
Please go onto the Parent Portal to access the Cast List! Please check your child’s name on the list to make sure BOTH their first and last name are correct. If both names are correct, there is no need to respond. If either one or both name(s) are not correct, please email us back with the corrections. If your child is in the Recital and their name is not on this list, please email us and provide their first and last name as you would like it to appear, and we will add it to the list.
Deadline is February 23rd! After that date if we have not heard from you, the way the name appears on this list will be the way it appears for the Recital. If you are an adult in the Recital your name has not been added onto the list yet!
Recital Costume Take Home
Please log onto the Parent Portal and accept the Recital Costume waiver. Once your child tries on the costume, you have signed the waiver and it fits you are able to take it home.
Calling All Dance Moms:
We are looking for Dance Moms to help us in the Dressing Rooms. A Dance Mom is someone who volunteers to help with a group Level 2 and below. The Dance Moms are responsible for keeping the dancers entertained backstage during the show, changing the dancers and getting the dancers on and off stage. Dance Moms are AMAZING and we appreciate all of your hard work each year. We are looking for NEW Moms this year as we have over 150 dancers in those levels and will need as much help as we can get. Dance moms do not need to purchase a recital ticket as they will be back stage for the entire show. If you sign up you will need to help on both dress rehearsal and recital day. Please note if your child is not potty trained you MUST sign up to be a dance mom.

Spreading the Love
This February is all about LOVE! We are spreading the love at Dance & Beyond again this year.
Grab a heart at the studio and write about someone or something at Dance & Beyond that you love.
This could be a student, class, teacher, or family member! Then, leave it at the front desk, and we will hang them up all around the Studio to share with everyone!
Calling All Dads:
We are inviting all dads to join us for our very entertaining dads' dance. This is NOT a father/daughter dance but a time for the dads to shine and show off their skills. Don't have any? No problem, we invite everyone to join in on the fun.
Please note that the Dads Dance will be in both shows, so if you sign up you are required to participate in both shows.
This rehearsal will be once a week.
Rehearsals will be on Sundays from 10-11am.
Below are the rehearsal dates…
March 1st, March 8th, March 29th, April 26th, May 3rd, and May 17th.
Dads are responsible for their own costumes, but we will give you an outline of what you need.
A $45 participation fee will be due by the first rehearsal.
